The Terrarium Project

I am, of course, jumping on the terrarium bandwagon about a million years after it left the station, but they are neat-o, so I don't really care.

While I bought some mini-plants at the Flower Show, and some gravel, I had all the containers and I found the moss by our front tree and in the cracks of the sidewalk.

My bad iPhone photography skills make this look scary.  It's actually quite cute, and will be nicer when it's grown in. Added bonus is that the teacup has a crack, so maybe it won't get too waterlogged.

A teacup fern. This makes me particularly happy.

A cracked rice bowl. Again, this looks nicer in person.
Moss is totally the mulch of the tiny plant world. It makes everything look neater and to scale.

A pickle dish with the leftover moss and a mossy rock.
