The canning season has begun - Mr. Pubby is making pickles. He made a few jars last year and they were delicious, with a subtle garlicky spicy flavor.
We only found a few acceptable pickling cucumbers, we're on the lookout for more to create a real stash.
These aren't water bath sealed, so they have to stay in the fridge, which may limit how many we make, but I'm willing to shift condiments to have more pickles!
My store of pickled jalapeƱos is about to run dry.... since making those, DIY nachos have been a house specialty. Well worth the fridge space they take up.
