Finally let myself buy it

Mr. Pubby and I went to the mall today and bought iphones.

Finally.

I am still surprised I actually have one.  I've wanted one, and contemplated buying one, and rejected the idea, a million times.

I feel like this is the first time I really allowed myself a luxury item.  I usually get an inexpensive phone, and an inexpensive plan.  I don't go on shopping sprees, we don't eat out at fancy restaurants, and I more often than not bring my lunch to work. 

I know many of my friends have an iphone, or three, or a blackberry and don't consider it a big deal.  But I fantasized about owning one of these devices for so long. It's like Don Draper getting the Cadillac.

And it was that easy.  Go into the Apple store and say I am ready.  And then plop down some cash.

I couldn't stop smiling as I left the store.
