readjusting my sewing attitude

I am 99% done with my felted wool throw blanket.  I can't decide how I feel about it.  I like the colors and I got to use some really pretty rose colored quilted material for the backing, but the sewing is sort of poor, mostly because the layers are so thick it was hard to control.  Despite lots of pinning and the purchase of a walking foot there is uneven pulling of the wool top.

I was so tired of it hanging around the house in an unfinished state, my attitude was definitely "good enough for government work," which as we all know does not lend itself to a 100% happy product.  Anyway, it'll be warm for the winter when we turn the heat down to 56 (what?  it's usually 62/58).

I'm being much more careful with the hand sewing of the repairs to the quilt top. And therefore that is more satisfying work.

The uneven sewing is just making me anxious about making a few baby quilts soon, they involve triangles and you have to be so exact with triangles.  knaw knaw knaw
